Truly begins with a step forward
But most times, it's a step into uncertainty
Especially on matters that can affect the future
You want to, at least, be sure it's safe
Even though every step forward is adorned with fear
Fear of walking into your greatest nightmare
Or settling with someone who may later care less about you
But when the odds are in your favour
And the universe have you backed up
You win for yourself a gem among stars
One that stands out like the sun amidst the galaxy
They become a lifeline of hope to you
A reminder that everything can be beautiful in love
A testament that you've truly won in life
And that even though your fears are valid
But with them, they won't be a thing of worry
So, when I tell you this chapter is covered with grace
I hope you get a glimpse, if not a full discovery
Of how blessed a person can be in this present world
Where conjugal seems burdensome and are no longer blissful
Yet, you have to yourself, someone who is peace of mind
