Empty Thrones

While I was looking, thrones were put in place

A reward to every faithful steward that has served

Giving their all whether it was requested or not

That the work committed to their hands may see success

For this, He instructed, 'Abide in me and I in you'

Cos this is a perfect condition that will be needed

To those He called, to show forth in good works

And be the unique example the world needs to see

But what then will become the fate of them

Who finds it hard to follow His instructions to abide

Those who felt burdened by His pattern of life

Present in the vineyard labouring, yet far from Him

Know this, the height of a Christian fruitless life

Is for such a person to be lost with the world

Where their years of toil and labour gets saved

But the worker is no where to be found

And their rewarded thrones, empty
