Back from my long trip
All soaked, stressed and tired
Shivering from the rain’s effect
Like strands of noodles held out
Hanging on a fork, wiggling
Despite being uncertain
About my wellness
Here I am before you
Out of a dying curiosity
Of me not being able
To see you in a while
Asking if you’re doing fine
Just to give my ranging heart
An iota of peaceful beating
So it can breathe and stop gasping
Like a fish pulled out of water
